Terms & Conditions

Effective 20 October 2026 · Version 1.3

Who operates the game

Shithead is operated by a sole trader, with correspondence at 52 Daisy Way, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0FS, United Kingdom. Contact shitheadsupport@icloud.com for help, complaints or questions about these terms.

Who can play

The game welcomes players aged 16 or over, including players outside the UK. Do not use it if you are under 16. Before playing, confirm that you are aged 16 or over . This is self-declaration, not verified age/location or an official age classification. Do not provide a false confirmation. Players using ChatGPT sign-in must also meet the account provider’s requirements, including any applicable parental permission requirements.

The game uses its traditional name and contains that language on cards and results screens. Player chat may contain messages written by others. Do not share personal, sensitive or payment information in chat.

Playing and accounts

This is a browser card game for entertainment, with no cash stakes or prizes. Original rules apply unless the host chooses custom Power Cards. Room members can see public cards, turns, results and chat. Accepted friends can also exchange private messages. Use the conversation controls to mute alerts or report a message. Hidden cards are revealed according to the game rules.

Create a free email account and confirm your email address before playing. Email sign-in is required for game access, saved friends, XP and account-linked features. You do not need a ChatGPT account to play. Keep your account, password, room codes and access tokens private. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account; contact support if you suspect misuse.

Fair play and behaviour

Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or impersonate anyone; post unlawful material; disclose another person’s private information; exploit bugs; manipulate XP or rankings; or disrupt the service. Use Report player in the chat player menu, then choose a message to send to the administrator for review, or contact support with the room code, time and relevant details. You can mute room chat or a player on this device. Do not submit deliberately false reports. The administrator can remove a reported message or restrict chat in that room while leaving gameplay available. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Never send passwords, verification codes or complete payment-card information.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect players or comply with law. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Private-room codes do not guarantee that everyone admitted is trustworthy.

Free play and Premium purchases

Core play is free. Premium is an optional £4.99 one-off account upgrade, not a subscription. It adds card/table designs, custom Power Cards and live leaderboard features. Free leaderboard previews contain labelled sample scores. Sign in before purchasing so access can be restored to the same account.

Payment is taken through Stripe checkout. Never send money or card details by email or game chat. Access unlocks after payment is verified; use Restore purchase if it does not appear. Administrator and testing access are not purchases.

For cancellation, refunds, duplicate charges or faulty access, email shitheadsupport@icloud.com with the purchase date and receipt reference. You may request cancellation within 14 days of purchase; we do not treat immediate access alone as a waiver of that right. Faulty or misdescribed digital content remains subject to your statutory remedies. Nothing here removes your consumer rights.

XP, levels and saved information

Signed-in players can earn XP from completed server-managed rounds. Completion earns 20 XP, first place adds 30 XP and second place in a 3–4-player round adds 10 XP. Rooms with bots, or fewer than two distinct signed-in accounts, award half XP. One account is credited once per round. Local solo practice and tutorials do not earn saved XP.

XP, titles, rankings and virtual designs have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may correct errors or manipulated results. Browser-only settings and statistics can be lost when browser data is cleared. See the Privacy Policy for account data and deletion controls.

Availability and updates

An internet connection is needed for online play. The game may involve bugs, interruptions, updates or loss of a round. We will try to correct reported faults, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent hosting. You pay your own device and connectivity costs.

We may change or end free features. Material changes to these terms will be dated and made available here. Premium depends on the continued operation of the service; it is not a promise of permanent hosting. Changes do not remove rights relating to an existing purchase.

Your rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence. Your applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of responsibility for the service.

The laws of England and Wales govern these terms, without removing mandatory protections or the right of UK consumers to bring proceedings in the courts available to them where they live, including Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Support, complaints and privacy

Email shitheadsupport@icloud.com. An automated reply acknowledges receipt but is not a resolution of your enquiry. We will consider complaints and respond as reasonably practicable. Privacy and personal-data requests are explained in the Privacy Policy. You can print or save this page for your records.
